Solution Focused Hypnotherapy aims to help you to recognize and use your resources to accomplish whatever you want; I use a powerful modern technique that enables positive change quickly and effectively. I understand how a personal problem or issue can sometimes seem so large or may have gone on for so long, that it feels like you may be stuck with it forever.

This is designed to encourage you to think positively. The psychotherapy part of the sessions gives you the opportunity to visualize your solutions, your future dreams and desires.

Simply put psychotherapy is a “talking therapy” where we concentrate and focus on you thinking about how you want things to be, rather than focusing on the past and your problems. Solution Focused Therapy is a well-established therapy that uses practical and innovative ways of helping you gain fresh attitudes and belief about yourself, your life and assisting you to achieve your goals.

The type of psychotherapy I practice does not involve analysing painful memories from the past. If you have experienced unpleasant events, we acknowledge they happened and help you get from where you are to where you want to be.

The following are some of the areas I work with using the Solution Focused Technique. It is important that you are prepared to make changes in your thinking and want to work together to achieve the positive change.

 

ANXIETY AND STRESS:
Anxiety and stress can affect the individual in a variety of ways. Physical symptoms can be in the form of Panic Attacks, Irritable Bowel (IBS), Skin Problems (dermatitis, eczema) tingling sensations etc. It may exhibit itself in the form of anger, frustration or sleeping problems.


INSOMNIA/SLEEP DISORDER:
Many of my clients have experienced years of disturbed sleep patterns. The lack of sleep impacts on our daily lives and our physical wellbeing.

IBS IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME:
The NHS are currently using hypnosis for the treatment of severe IBS, helping you to understand what triggers your symptoms, the therapy can help you to reduce your symptoms and in some cases alleviate them totally.

FEARS/PHOBIAS:
Phobias covering all areas.  Are your fears or phobias stopping you doing the things you want to do?  Fear of flying, spiders, heights and needles are some of the more common phobias people suffer with.

PAIN MANAGEMENT:
Pain is the way our brain lets us know a part of our body requires attention. The use of hypnotherapy has been seen to lessen pain.

 

ADDICTIONS & OBSESSIONS: 
Hypnosis with the client’s co-operation can help with stopping smoking, nail biting and alcohol dependency.

SPORTS PERFORMANCE ENCHANCEMENT:
Achieve that perfect golf swing; attain a high level of sports performance. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can be enormously successful in enabling people facing these highly stressful and often crucial situations to perform without disabling anxiety, free from self-doubt and in control.

CONFIDENCE BUILDING:
Lack of confidence or low self-esteem can stop us achieving our goals. Hypnotherapy can help you overcome your lack of confidence. Lack of confidence and low esteem can have a detrimental effect on our lives, whether it is associated with our relationships, at work, at home or when we are socialising. Through hypnosis negative beliefs, thoughts and behaviours can be revised and replaced. The result is a new and motivated attitude with increased self-belief and confidence. 

Sessions and Fees

FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION (Approax 40-50 minutes)
This is an informal meeting giving us the chance to discuss what you want to achieve from the therapy. The session includes a brief explanation of how your mind works, helping you to understand what is happening and how the therapy can assist you in achieving positive changes.

Your session also includes a FREE CD. There is no treatment at this first meeting. Together we use it to conclude whether hypnotherapy is a suitable therapy for you.


SOLUTION FOCUSED HYPNOTHERAPY
Individual Sessions £60 per hour
50 – 60 Minutes per Session
Discounts available for block booking of sessions


STOP SMOKING SESSION (120 Minutes) £130.00
This is a single session does not require an initial consultation.


PHOBIA SESSIONS £150.00
This consists of the Free Initial Consultation plus 3 further 60 minute sessions, Normally over a period of 3 weeks.

for the sessions to be worthwhile full client co-operation is important. A discount of 10% is available if you are:

  • A student
  • Receiving Tax -Credits. Incapacity benefit or Job seekers allowance


CANCELLATION POLICY
48 hours’ notice is required or a 50% fee will be applied.
Please make sure you arrive on time for your appointment, this ensures the full allotted time for your session.

About your Therapist

My name is Hayley Kiemel. I specialise in Anxiety and Stress in the Greater Manchester Area with great success. Hypnotherapy can assist in many other areas. I trained with The Clifton Practice in Bristol, a recognised centre of excellence for hypnotherapy and hold the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma, which is considered the gold standard in Hypnotherapy training.

I am a member of the National Council of Hypnotherapy and I maintain full Public Liability and Indemnity Insurance. My interest in hypnotherapy began over 10 years ago with family members having benefited greatly from the technique. I use Solution Focused Hypnotherapy which concentrates on the future and what can be achieved rather than dwell on the past and what might have been.
